As part of a masterplan that combined cultural buildings with a new public square and landscape, the Albury Library Museum design philosophy was implemented to allow integration and interaction, and focus on ‘smart’ building design and energy efficient principles.

The completed project is a 3,300sqm interactive space combining an extensive regional library with entertainment and educational facilities. ESD features were utilised including automatic daylight and occupancy sensing, computer-based building management system for ventilation, high performance solar glazing and Water Sensitive Urban Design.
