As the largest regional hospital development in Victorian, the new $630 million Bendigo Hospital delivers world-class healthcare facilities while offering a tranquil and caring environment for staff, patients and visitors.

Delivered through a PPP with the Victorian State Government, Bendigo Health and consortium Exemplar Health (consisting of Capella Capital, Lendlease, Spotless and Siemens), Irwinconsult were engaged to provide all structural and civil engineering services working closely with project architects Silver Thomas Hanley and Bates Smart.

The new hospital encompasses a holistic approach to healthcare and includes a new regional cancer centre, 372 inpatients beds, 72 same-day beds, 11 operating theatres, an 80-bed integrated mental health facility and a mother and baby unit. The hospital also includes a 1200 space multi-deck car park, retail and conference facilities, childcare centre and hotel.
