The Geelong Grammar School for Performing Arts and Creative Education (SPACE) is a 3,200m2 building comprising two major performance spaces. The construction provides the school community with a much needed space and launching pad for creative within the School.

The David Darling Play House seats 800 people and provides a flexible flat floor venue for school assemblies and selective large scale musical and theatrical productions. The Bracebridge Wilson Studio seats 250 people and provides a flexible flat floor venue for small scale drama and music productions. Additional facilities include a multipurpose foyer, gallery and kiosk, classrooms and staff facilities. High tech audio visual systems, theatrical systems and retractable seating systems were provided to the main Forum and Studio performance areas for maximum flexibility in use of these spaces. All LED lighting systems and advanced lighting control systems have been specified throughout, including dynamic RGB lighting for colour effects. External video projection to two façades will also be provided to showcase the School’s creative arts capabilities.
